A lifeguard is a professional, who operates in a team to ensure his venue is safe and popular to clients and visitors. He is a leader, manager, counselor, coach and a PR person for his facility. He prevents accidents and makes a facility safe, a sport engaging and the environment enjoyable and entertaining. RLSS (I)'s Pool Lifeguard Certification includes teaching participants the knowledge and skills needed to prevent and respond to aquatic emergencies.
