Training Structure

Under the direction of National Headquarters, located in Pune, the country-wide network of First Aid Centres of Training (FACTs) and Swimming & Life Saving Training Centres (SLTCs) at State and District levels impart training in first aid, life saving and life guarding. At venues of water sports activity such as swimming pools, lakes, rivers or on the beaches along the coastline of the country, the Society wishes to contribute to safety of swimmers and tourists through active Lifeguard Patrols. While FACTs & SLTCs cater to education and safety inland, the Beach Safety Centres (BSCs) provide lifeguard patrols on the beaches.
