Swimming & Life Saving Training Centres

Wherever possible the RLSS (I) acquires captive swimming pools and establishes Swimming & Life Saving Training Centres (SLTCs).

The Society has established SLTCs in:

• Pune - Wanowri, Balgandharv & Chichwad
• Vishakapatnam - Vishakha Sports Club
• Mumbai - Ozone, Renaissance Federation Club, Goregaon Sports Complex
• Hyderabad - Sujata Public School
• Kolkata - Jadavpur
• Tezpur, Assam - Assam Valley School
• Dehra Dun - Doon School, RIMC

The Society's SLTCs hum with activity, as instructors, coaches, lifeguards and lifesavers impart instructions with considerable acumen, dedication and enthusiasm. The Society has a success rate of 90% in teaching swimming. The SLTCs have also instituted programmes like "Rookie Life Guard" for young enthusiastic lifesavers and "Water Smart" for young swimmers.
