Lifeguard Training & Certification

A Lifeguard is not only a "lifesaver" but a lot more. He prevents accidents and makes a facility safe, a sport engaging and the environment enjoyable and entertaining.

Our lifeguard certification includes teaching participants the knowledge and skills needed to prevent and respond to aquatic emergencies. The course content and activities prepare participants to

• Recognize and respond quickly and effectively to emergencies and prevent drowning and injuries
• Identify types of swimmers and their behaviour
• Understand the procedures of handling emergencies in water and on land
• Provide first aid
• Use signals for communications
