


National Lifesaving Sport Championships
Rescue India series
The National Lifesaving Championships held by the RLSS (I) form part of the Rescue India series. The Rescue India series have the approval of the ILS and have been conducted since 2004.
- Rescue India 2004 - 1st National Lifesaving Championships from 16 to 24 Nov 2004 in Pune
- Rescue India 2005 - 2nd National Lifesaving and 4th Endurance Swim Championships from 20 to 25 Sept 2005 in Pune
- Rescue India 2006 - 3rd National Lifesaving Championship from 27 October to 1 Nov 2006 in Kolkatta
- Rescue India 2007 - 5th National Lifesaving Championship from 3 to 7 October 2007 in Mumbai
- Rescue India 2009 - 6th National Lifesaving Championship from 23 to 25 January 2009 in Chennai.
Rescue India 2009 is the first event to receive the RLSS Commonwealth Event Recognition
Splash Dash
A flat out swim for 25 meters to simulate an approach to a drowning victim. To be conducted with a Rescue Tube strapped around a lifesaver's shoulder.
Endurance Swim
