Memberships

Life Member - A person who qualifies in Resuscitation, First Aid, Lifesaving or Lifeguarding will be a Life Member of the Society. To keep this membership alive, he/she should keep his/her Certificate current.

Instructor Life Member - A person who has gained proficiency in First Aid, Lifesaving or Lifeguarding instructional techniques in theory and practical demonstrations to standards as specified by the Society. To be able to conduct courses, he/she needs to hold a current Instructors' Certificate.

Examiner Life Member - A Lifesaving Instructor who has attained a high standard in teaching and has minimum one year experience as an instructor. He/she will be given examination assignments at the discretion of the National Headquarters or Zones as required.

Donor Member - A person who makes a one time donation of Rs. 10,00,000/- or above. He/she will enjoy a prestigious position at the Society's functions and activities and will receive the RLSS (I) News Letter. He/she will also be invited to RLSS (I) Council of Advisors' Meetings.

Annual Platinum Donor Member - A person who donates Rs. 5,00,000/- or more in a calendar year. He/she will be honoured as an invitee to the Society's functions and activities and will be a recipient of the RLSS (I) Newsletter.

Annual Gold Donor Member - A person who donates Rs. 3,00,000/- or more in a calendar year. He/she will be an invitee to Society functions and a recipient of the RLSS (I) Newsletter.

Annual Silver Donor Member - A person who donates Rs. 1,00,000/- or more in a calendar year. He/she will be an invitee to Society functions and a recipient of the RLSS (I) Newsletter.

Annual Bronze Donor Member - A person who donates Rs. 25,000 to Rs. 50,000 in a calendar year. He/she will be an invitee to Society functions and a recipient of the RLSS (I) Newsletter.

Honorary Member - An eminent person or a public dignitary who wishes well for the Society will be an Honorary Member of the Society. His/her association with the Society will be regarded as an asset. He/she will be an honoured guest to the Society's functions and will be a recipient of the RLSS (I) Newsletter.

Donor and Honorary Members may be invited to represent the Society as observers at national and international meets and functions. They can also be invited to be members of the Advisory Board or participate in important deliberations of the Society.
