To Empower a Lifesaver in Every home in our Pursuit of Surakshit Bharat
For over two decades the Rashtriya Life Saving Society (India) has been empowering people with lifesaving skills as LIFESAVERS with the hope that they will attend to drowning and accident victims to save LIVES as they have the skills to help and are under oath to help a victim in distress. Realising that training only 500,000 lifesavers since its launch over two decades ago being inadequate, RLSS (I) is expanding its reach to cover the entire nation with the creation of RLSS ASSOCIATIONS at State, District, Panchayat and Village level so that the message of lifesaving and drowning prevention can reach every HOME.
For smooth functioning of the State & Union Territory units, RLSS (I) has created Commissions and Committees lead by volunteers.
Calling volunteers from national and international arena to help India to succeed in being a concerned and safer country.
