A Lifeguard is a person responsible to maintain safety and prevent accidents in water bodies under his/ her care. In Open Water & Beach Lifeguard training one learns how to maintain safety at ponds, lakes, rivers & beaches, take measures to prevent accidents, enforce safety rules and display flags at a beach, beach patrolling, scanning, advanced aquatic rescue skills, use of rescue equipments, rescue with motor boat/ jet ski, rescue with rescue board, beach survey for safety assessment, and complete first aid.
- Training Method – Theory + Practical + Exam
- Course Duration – 42 Hours
- Minimum Age – 16 years
- Prerequisites – 500 meters swim in 15 min , 30 meters underwater swim, can stand with hands up un deep water for 3 mins – (eggbeater kick)
