A Lifeguard is a person responsible with his or her team to maintain safety and prevent accidents in water bodies under his/ her care. In Pool Lifeguard training one learns management of a safe pool, take measures to prevent accidents, scanning of the pool, advanced aquatic rescue skills, use of rescue equipments, basic water treatments and maintenance and complete first aid.
A ‘Lifeguard’ is a leader, counsellor, mentor, a marketing & public relations person forever promoting his safe venue among his clients/users/visitors.

- Bronze Level:
- Lifesaving Skills: Core Training in water rescue techniques and emergency response.
- First Aid: Comprehensive training in basic first aid procedures.
- Validity: 2 years, renewable for 3 years.
- Silver Level :
- Lifesaving Skills: Includes all skills of Level 1.
- First Aid: Includes all skills of Level 1 with addition of usage and administration of AED and O2 Skills.
- Spine Management: Techniques for managing spinal injuries in aquatic environment.
- Validity: 2 years, renewable for 3 years.
- Gold Level :
- Lifesaving Skills: Includes all skills of Level 2.
- First Aid: Includes all skills of Level 2.
- Pool Audits: Training on conducting thorough pool audits for safety and compliance.
- Supervision Techniques: Strategies for effective supervision of swimmers and guests.
- Communication and Reports: Guidelines on clear communication during emergencies and proper reporting procedures.
- Validity: 2 years, renewable for 3 years.
- Platinum Level :
- Lifesaving Skills: Includes all skills of Level 3.
- First Aid: Includes all skills of Level 3.
- Pool Audits: Training on conducting thorough pool audits for safety and compliance.
- Supervision Techniques: Strategies for effective supervision of swimmers and guests.
- Communication and Reports: Guidelines on clear communication during emergencies and proper reporting procedures.
- Injury Prevention Strategies: Training on implementing effective injury prevention measures.
- Emergency Action Plan: Development and execution of emergency response plans.
- Facility Safety Audits and Recommendations: Conducting audits to ensure facility safety and providing recommendations for improvements.
- Safety Equipment and Facility Checklist: Understanding and maintaining safety equipment, as well as using facility checklist for regular assessment.
- Validity: 2 years, renewable for 3 years.
