For over two decades the Rashtriya Life Saving Society (India) has trained and certified more than 4,00,000 people from various strata of the Indian society in First-aid and Lifesaving skills. Our core activity of empowering people with lifesaving skills to effectively attend to the victims of drowning and accidents on land continues to be pursued with vigour.
The loss of an estimated half a million young lives to accidents and drowning every year is a cause for concern. RLSSI is working to create awareness and train people to become First Responders, who could attend to the victims of accidents on land and in water.
The RLSS(I) provides leadership in lifesaving activities in India through training and operations in its four Operational Zones (North, South, East, and West) in India, with internationally accredited trainers, latest training equipment and techniques.
