The World’s Largest Swimming Lesson™ (WLSL) is a worldwide promotional event designed to promote awareness of the importance to teach children how to swim and be safe in and around water.

The Rashtriya Life Saving Society (India),  scheduled to host the WLSL 2020 in India.  On this day, we intend to host tens of thousands of kids and adults at aquatic facilities around India, who will unite to make some noise for the campaign Swimming Lessons Save Lives.™

According to the National Crime Records Bureau, Ministry of Home Affairs, India there were over 30,000 though we estimate the actual numbers are much higher drowning related deaths in 2018 alone. This is a matter of serious concern, involving children and adults equally at RLSS(India) we are working tirelessly to educate our children and parents about drowning prevention.

A global event, The World’s Largest Swimming Lesson™ (WLSL), will take place at hundreds of locations in more than 20 countries in five continents over the course of 24 hours.
